Christmas is a wonderful time of year, especially for all the children out there, grown up or not. It’s great watching my grandchildren’s faces as they open all their presents…

Overindulgence is pretty much par for the course for everyone. Enjoying all the treats and trimmings for only a few special days. Can’t be anything too bad in that can there?

As a change I thought I would try something a little different this week and so I thought I would record a little video message to say a big thank you to everyone…

A Very Emotional Time

Christmas can be a time of great joy but unfortunately there is inevitably some extra stress involved. As the time draws near everything has to be right for the day and there seems so little time to get things ready. Just don’t let the little things get in the way.

I think everyone gets a little bit niggly in the run up to Christmas. Just make sure you take a little time on Christmas Eve to sit back and relax, once everything is sorted, and let the people close to you know how much they mean to you before the rush of the big day.

Another reason I find Christmas a bit emotional is how important is was to my Mum. She used to love Christmas and it always brings back a lot of lovely memories. This can makes things a bit hard sometimes but Christmas should be all about family, even if they are no longer with us, so I usually take a trip over to her grave on the morning of Christmas day, no matter how busy things get, just to spend a little time remembering…

Anyway I am not trying to bring the mood down I just wanted to emphasize the fact that you should make the most of times like Christmas for the opportunity it gives you to spend some quality time with your loved ones…
